Oktoberfest Houston will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Water Works at Buffalo Park. There will be great music, German and local beers to enjoy, some of Houston’s best food choices, plus tons of competitive games.
It’s All About The Beer
If you’re are looking for an incredible selection of beer, then this is one event you can’t afford to miss. Last year’s Oktoberfest included offerings such as Bells Oktoberfest, Bells Two Hearted, Breckenridge Avalanche, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, Karbach Lemon Ginger Radler, Saint Arnold Lawnmower, and many others. There will also be a great selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from.

You’ll find some incredible food, both German and non-German, at this year’s Oktoberfest Houston. Last year, vendors like Deutscher Fleischwagen, Houston Gypsy Wagon, Kono Pizza, and Steel City Pops were on site. There were offerings like Bratwurst with sauerkraut, potato salad, giant beer pretzels, and German chocolate cake. You can also pick up some commemorative swag from this year’s Oktoberfest Houston including 1L Beer Boots, 1L Beer Steins, Souvenir Pitchers & Mini Steins, Oktoberfest Hats, Garlands & Chicken Headbands.

You definitely won’t want to miss the authentic Polka music and German Folk Dancers at this event. The 2018 Oktoberfest Houston musical act lineup includes performances from Enzian Baum, Auf Gehts, Eurofest, Yodel Blitz, German Folk Dancers, and DJ Big Reeks.
Lots of Fun & Competitive Games
Want to have some real German-inspired competitive fun? Then you’ll definitely want to participate in the 7th annual Oktoberfest Olympiad games including the Stein Race, Barrel Roll, Stein Hoisting, and the Legendary Brat Toss. There will also be beer pong and flip cup tournaments along with cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect 4, and more.

Tickets are available for purchase online for Oktoberfest Houston. General admission is $25 per person and $30 at the entrance to the event. General Admission includes entry into the festival, live music, and participation in Olympiad Games. VIP tickets are $100 person and $125 at the door and include everything you get with General Admission plus preferred seating/toilets and complimentary food and beverages.
