NASCAR Version of the Toyota Tundra is Being Built

Now, Toyota is busy crafting a new Tundra body for the Camping World Truck Series. This new NASCAR Tundra will look similar to the street version truck, with a larger grille, wider fenders, and flatter hood.

Since Toyota debuted the a Tundra model fit for the racing series, they have “won three Camping World Truck Series championships, five straight manufacturer titles (2006-2010), a NASCAR Nationwide Series championship (Kyle Busch with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2009), three straight manufacturer titles (2008-2010) and plenty of wins in all three major series,” says RantSports.com. It’s been a decade since the release of the previous, champion Tundra racing model. With the former’s multi-title-winning track record to build upon, plus improvements not only in build, but in refined performance and drive; they will hardly be be the same vehicle. The suited-up 2014 Toyota Tundra turned race car is definitely going to be a contender to keep your eye on.
