Not in Shape? No Problem!
Here’s the thing about this 5k. It’s really flexible. It’s more about getting into the Christmas spirit than it is about beating the competition. You don’t have to be in good shape to participate. You can choose how to participate based on your fitness level. Want to run it? Take off from the starting line. More of a jogger? No problem. Take a nice jog through the course. What if you want to walk? Take a leisurely stroll along the course and check out the lights. Everyone should go at their own pace and have fun.
Don’t Want to Race? Go to the Afterparty
What if you can’t stand the idea of completing a 5k? If that’s the case, you still need to go to the afterparty. It’s going to be a crazy good time. There’ll be festive cocktails, food truck bites, and tons of fun at the Houstonia house. Plus, there will be a costume contest. The organizers will give the best costume winner a trophy, and there will be other categories as well. Come up with a fun holiday costume and head to the party. Then, you can be a part of the fun without getting sweaty at the race.
