About the Festival

The Houston Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place on Friday, December 13 beginning at 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 14 ending at 9:00 p.m. In addition to the festival, this is a joined event with the Victory Cup Polo Match. At the festival, you’ll be able to enjoy polo, hot air balloons, food, fashion, and most of all, fun! Now in its fifteenth year, the event draws thousands of people from all across the area. The event will also feature horses, food and beverage sponsors, and much more.

If you’ve always wanted to ride a hot air balloon, now is your chance. After the launch, you’ll be able to enjoy polo, food, wine, and more. Later, you can enjoy a tethered hot air balloon ride. The event will be held at the Brookshire Polo Club located at 800 Wilpitz Rd, Brookshire, TX 77423.

Ticket Options

There are a variety of ticket options you can choose from for the event:

  • Friday Night Pass without Tethered Balloon Ride – Looking to have some fun, but not interested in riding a balloon? This ticket option gives you a pass for Friday night only between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The cost is $7 as well as the price of parking which is $15.
  • Hot Air Balloon Tethered Ride Only – If your main objective is to be able to say you’ve soared in the air in a hot air balloon, you’ll want to choose this ticket option which gives attendees a taste of ballooning while anchored to the ground. Rides last five minutes each and the balloon can carry 5-8 people at a time. The cost is $35.
