Doesn’t it seem like everything is so loud these days? From the cars flying by to loud concerts, it can seem like you never get a break. That might normally be true, but there is one respite in the loud city. Attend Unplugged at Discovery Green to enjoy a night of acoustic music. It’s relaxed, intimate, and will give you a break from the wildness of the city. This event will be on Nov. 25 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s free of charge and will be perfect for the entire family.
About the Music
The concert will include performances by Los Dientes, Sara Van Buskirk, Now We Fly, Metanoia, and Soul Creatures. Each performer and band will face an interesting challenge. They have to find a way to reimagine their songs to fit the acoustic format. Some completely rearrange the music, while others simply make a few tweaks. In each case, though, the songs sound completely different, and the performances are so much more soulful. You will connect to the music in a whole new way when you listen to it in this format.
Food and Drinks
The Grove will also be at the concert, offering up food and drinks. You’ll find a nice assortment of food, beer, and wine, and you can even bring your own. You are welcome to bring a picnic if you don’t want to spend any money at the event.
