Make Plans To Attend The 21st Annual ARToberFEST

Do you ever wish you had more art in your life? A lot of people do, but it’s hard to find time to visit museums, galleries, and other places where artists show their work. But you have a great opportunity to look at some art when you make plans to attend the 21st Annual ARToberFEST. This is a festival that will highlight amazing artists who have come from across the country to display their work. It’s a great chance to get some culture in your life and maybe even buy some incredible artwork at the same time.

Event Details

The ARToberFEST event is going to be on Saturday, Oct. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 21. On Saturday, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, you can get in at 11 a.m. and stay until 5 p.m. That gives you a whole weekend to explore works from different artists. It’s all taking place downtown on Postoffice Street in The Strand District. While you do have to pay to get into this event, it’s relatively inexpensive. You only have to pay $5 for admission, unless you have a child who is 12 years of age or younger. In that case, you don’t have to pay a dime for them to get in.

Art and Other Fun

You’re going to see a ton of different types of art when you go to this festival. The artists who are displaying their work handle a variety of different types of media, which means you’re sure to find something you love. But while the art is the main attraction at this event, it’s not the only thing going on. For example, if you want something to drink, you can head over to the wine bar. The kids also have a place to go, as there is a gallery designed just for them. Plus, there will be musical performances both days. Oh, and if you want to support some budding artists, you have to check out the College of the Mainland tent. Some of these young artists are really talented.
