Fajita Festival

Do you love fajitas? Well, if you answered “sí,” get ready for the 3rd Annual Houston Fajita Festival on Saturday, July 28! Presented by Grandma’s Boys Lemonade, this event is set to take place at Houston Community College’s West Loop Campus located at 5601 West Loop South in Houston, TX. While benefiting Texas Lions Camp, a camping facility for physically disabled children, you’ll want to be there to support this worthy nonprofit while also being a part of the fun.

Fajita Festival Activities and Entertainment

Obviously, the Fajita Festival will include fajitas. Lots of fajitas. And that means that you, your family, and your friends must come hungry and ready to chow down on some delicious Mexican dishes from a dozen top grill masters in the area. There will also be a taco and jalapeno eating contests for those who dare to enter a little friendly competition. Along with fajita-related fun, there will also be live art walls and a photo area. Kids will most definitely have blast as well with a playground, bouncy house, jumpers, and more. They’ll also enjoy the costume characters that will be roaming the festival. Last but not least, there will be a live DJ to set the mood and spin some of your favorite tunes.

About Texas Lions Camp

This event benefits Texas Lions Camp, which is a camping facility for children with physical disabilities, hearing or vision impairments, diabetes, or cancer. They’ve been providing camping experiences for children with medical conditions since 1949, at no charge to the families. The camp consists of more than 500 acres in Texas Hill Country. Each camper stays 9-weeks in the hopes of creating a memorable childhood experience filled with exploring and simply having fun. With the mission of inspiring a can-do attitude among campers, this organization does such amazing things for disabled children in our community, and we’re excited at the chance to support them.
